For this new "Nice Tomète You" meeting, we return to Paris, in the 10th arrondissement, a vibrant and cosmopolitan district where influences intertwine — just like the interior of Camille Raffray, model and co-founder of KABAS World.
After several months of renovation work, Camille has created an eclectic, warm, and lively apartment, where designer pieces, vintage furniture, and souvenirs naturally coexist. A universe that resonates with Tomète's: a love for color, beautiful materials, and everyday objects with character, without ever being too precious.
Camille opens the doors of her apartment to us today to talk about decoration, the art of entertaining, childhood memories in Mauritius, and to tell us how Tomète has slipped into her daily life.
Tomète: Could you introduce yourself in a few words and tell us a bit about your home?
CAMILLE: My name is Camille Raffray, I am a model and co-founder of KABAS World, a bag brand that I created with my best friend Margaux. I live in Paris in the 10th arrondissement. We moved into this apartment after several months of renovation work, and we really designed it to be a place that reflects us, with a mix of vintage finds, design pieces, and souvenirs accumulated over time. I like that our interior evolves with us and is never completely static.
How would you describe your interior style in three words?
Eclectic, warm, and vintage.
Could you tell us about the city or region where you live? How does it influence your interior design?
I live in the 10th arrondissement, a neighborhood I love very much because it's lively, very diverse, and you find a huge variety of cultures and influences there. I love going to Passage Brady for my spices, discovering new places, or simply walking around the neighborhood. I think my interior design reflects it a bit: it's not too conventional, there are objects from different eras and origins coexisting.
Tell us an anecdote about the interior design.
During the renovation, while breaking down some partitions, we discovered an old skylight we hadn't known was there. We decided to keep it and integrate it into the project: it now brings natural light all the way into the bathroom. It was a really pleasant surprise during the construction.
What's your philosophy when it comes to setting the table and entertaining?
I like a beautiful table, but especially one that doesn't look too perfect. I prefer mixing plates, arranging flowers a bit freely in several small vases, taking out nice glasses, and letting things unfold quite instinctively. The most important thing is that people feel comfortable and want to linger at the table.
Do you have a particular anecdote or memory of a meal you hosted or attended?
What I love most is being surrounded by the people I care about, cooking for them, and making them happy. The simplest meals often become the best memories, when everyone lingers around the table and enjoys the moment.
What kind of host are you? Team "I plan the menu and table weeks in advance" or Team "last minute"?
A mix of both! I can think about an idea for a long time, save inspiration for table settings or recipes... and then ultimately prepare everything at the last minute. I like it when there's intention but the result retains a spontaneous feel.

How did you discover Tomète?
Via Instagram. I came across the account and immediately loved the universe, the colours, the shapes and the way the products are staged.
What did you like about our brand or products?
I really like the mix of simplicity and strong identity. The shapes are very graphic, the colours are beautiful without being too obvious, and there's something very joyful about the whole thing. These are everyday objects that have a real personality while remaining easy to integrate into your home.
Quel produit Tomète avez-vous choisi pour chez vous, et pourquoi ce choix ?
J’ai choisi une serviette de bain, un set de table et les dessous de verre Volute en forme de spirale. J’aime beaucoup cette forme très graphique et un peu ludique, qui donne immédiatement du caractère à une table. Et j’aime aussi l’idée de retrouver l’univers de Tomète à différents endroits de la maison, jusque dans des objets très simples du quotidien.
Quelle place le linge de maison occupe-t-il dans votre intérieur ?
Une place assez importante parce que je trouve que ce sont justement ces détails qui rendent un intérieur vivant et chaleureux. Un rideau, un beau drap ou une serviette peuvent complètement changer la perception d’une pièce, sans avoir besoin de modifier tout le décor.
What is the atmosphere of your bathroom like?
I wanted to make it a real little cocoon, quite enveloping, by playing a lot with materials, textures, and colors, especially with the mosaic and terracotta tiles. There are also some decorative objects that I adore and quite a few visible beauty products, so it remains a lively and personal space.
The beauty or wellness ritual you never miss?
Applying sunscreen every day and keeping my skin well-hydrated. Those are really the two steps I never skip.
A water memory?
I grew up in Mauritius, so water is strongly linked to my childhood. I immediately think of swimming, the sea, and that feeling of being in the water for hours.
Current decor inspiration?
Charlotte Taylor's Instagram account, which I love. I really like her universe, her way of playing with volumes, shapes and colors, and imagining almost unreal interiors while remaining very inspiring.
A colour or material that speaks to you right now?
Butter yellow and glass, especially textured or coloured glass. I really like how it catches the light and can add colour without being too overpowering.
Who would you like to see for our next "Nice Tomète You"?
My friend Yasmine Eslami. I love her taste, her world, and the natural way she mixes things. I would be very curious to discover her interior through this format.
